Material Handler II 2nd Shift

Material Handler II – 2nd Shift responsible for effectively procuring and verifying components from the warehouse for production, loading into appropriate rooms, and maintaining proper batch records (lot numbers, quantities, expiration dating) with QAD transactions. Assist in line clearances, ensure proper written and electronic transactions, and maintain inventory/area organization. Perform cycle counts, barcode labeling, and verify labels against products/parts. Train and assist other Material Handlers, coordinate weekend schedules, and support production on packaging lines. Utilize QAD/Warehousing systems and RF equipment; operate in cold rooms (2-8°C); ensure GMP compliance; read/write simple correspondence and communicate findings to supervisors. Requires experience with inventory transactions, staging areas, and attention to safety and process improvements. Location: Macungie, PA, USA; typically a fast-paced environment with occasional heavy lifting up to 100 pounds and use of pallet jacks. The role supports the broader Sharp Packaging Services and its global operations in packaging solutions and clinical services.
