Material Handler I Yard/Warehouse

Material Handler I Yard/Warehouse position handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products on site. Responsibilities include lifting, carrying, stacking items, operating motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, adhering to safety procedures, responding to training from foreman or senior handlers, attending safety meetings, and contributing to workplace safety improvements. No supervisory duties. On-the-job training provided in an entry-level production environment with potential tasks involving climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally; work is performed in a production setting with varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
