Material Handler I Yard/Warehouse

Material Handler I Yard/Warehouse at Builders FirstSource handles and maintains the flow of materials on-site under direct supervision. Responsibilities include lifting, carrying, and stacking materials; operating motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment; responding to training from foreman or senior handlers to improve processes; adhering to safety procedures and attending safety meetings; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or GED and is an entry-level position with on-the-job training. The role is performed in a production environment with physical demands such as lifting 25 to 80 pounds and potential exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and chemicals.
