Material Handler I

Load and unload various size containers, including totes, drums, tankers, and trailers. Construct boxes and fiber containers, stack materials, and label loads for processing at site or transportation. Use tools such as impact wrenches, shovels, and jackhammers to transport hazardous waste materials within the facility. Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums according to RCRA guidelines. Assist in completing paperwork for material processing and perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Inspect material handling equipment as directed. Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials at designated sites using appropriately trained equipment.
