Job Summary
Receive, examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, and pack items for shipment in accordance with established procedures. Prepare and file routine documentation while maintaining quality metrics. Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts within the warehouse, including work in +4°C walk-in cold rooms and -20°C freezers. Participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives. Perform these tasks Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Ability to work in Cold Room/Freezers at -22degreesF/-6degrees C
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold)
- Ability to work in loud noises from equipment/machinery
- Ability to wear various PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs
- Ability to work with various outside weather conditions
- Ability to work in a Warehouse environment
- Ability to work with hazardous/toxic materials
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to regularly lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to lift weight of 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Successful partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds

- Must be available for First Shift (Days) M-F 6:30am-3:00pm
- Must be able to perform Material Handling and Inventory tasks
- Must be able to regularly use PIT equipment and Hand held WMS
- Must be able to participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives
- Must be able to receive, examine, sort, arrange, count, store, pick, and pack items in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements
- Must be able to prepare and file routine documentation
- Must be able to maintain quality metrics
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, Forklift etc)
- Must be able to work in and out of a +4c walk-in Cold Room and -20c walk-in Freezer
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
- Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
