Job Summary
Material Handler I supports the efficient flow of materials in a warehouse/manufacturing setting, operating forklift or similar equipment, receiving and distributing materials, and ensuring accurate alignment with bills of lading and packing lists. Tasks include loading/unloading, organizing storage, FIFO asset management, preparing shipping paperwork (BOL/Manifest), coordinating with the Shipping Coordinator, maintaining safety/hygiene standards, and assisting production with material readiness. On-site, 2nd shift (1:30 pm–10:00 pm), with duties spanning material movement, order prioritization, inventory reporting, and collaboration with managers and coworkers to ensure timely shipments and smooth warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certifiable
- Scissor lift certifiable
- Pallet jacks
- Experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Computer skills preferred
