Job Summary
Read blueprints and machine drawings to determine material requirements and select the appropriate process for moving raw steel or finished product. Operate forklifts, overhead hoists, and hand trucks while safely rigging loads and using hand tools, grinders, and cutting torches. Maintain work areas in a clean condition, perform equipment maintenance and repairs, and observe all safety rules and regulations. Drive forklifts and move parts into and out of work areas. Requires a forklift certificate and ability to read instructions and measure materials. Day shift hours are 5:30am-4pm Monday through Thursday, with Friday overtime as needed.
