Job Summary
As a Material Handler I at Novanta, you will support shipping and warehouse operations by packaging products for shipment, maintaining inventory, performing routine data entry related to shipments and documentation, coordinating with internal departments and external carriers to resolve shipment questions, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements. You will operate from established procedures to help maintain accurate shipping records, BOM logs, and inventory, contributing to on-time, accurate shipments and overall team success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (reading, writing, and basic math skills required)
- Less than one year of related experience
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to follow written procedures and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- On-site presence required
