Material Handler I

Job Summary
Material Handler I responsible for handling materials in the facility to store items on shelves, pull items needed for production, and conveying completed goods to proper storage area. Performs inventory transactions and identifies storage areas for quick retrieval. Reads production schedules to determine daily material needs, moves materials to staging areas, uses pallet jack and equipment to relocate outbound materials, records locations via system or hand scanner, and collaborates with Group Leaders and setup personnel. Adheres to all safety and OSHA procedures; up to 25 lb lifting with PPE as required. On-site in Indianapolis, IN.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a shipping or packaging role with exposure to material handling using pallet jack, sit-down forklift, and Raymond stand-up lifts (May Raymond swing reach after training)
- Experience using Microsoft Office for email, word processing and spreadsheets
- Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with all employees
- Job is designated as Safety and Attendance Critical
