Job Summary
Stage materials, parts, and sub-assemblies for production under direct supervision. Ensure the workflow has required components by locating materials and expediting part shortages within the plant. Communicate all parts issues to group leaders and supervisors. Correctly measure materials and maintain a basic understanding of transaction effects on inventory. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and possess effective verbal communication skills. This hourly non-exempt role offers a starting pay range of $20.00/hour with eligibility for overtime. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k) retirement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic understanding of transaction affect on inventory
- Ability to correctly measure materials
- Basic reading, writing and numerical ability
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
