Material Handler I

Prepare and maintain inventory records of all inventoried items; identify and stock bins and/or shelves with received materials; post inventory records in the computer and track transactions by job orders or Material Requisition slips; perform periodic inventories and verify discrepancies; notify Purchasing when order points are reached to replenish stock; compare packing slips against purchase orders and verify weights; enter incoming shipments in the system and handle RMAs; support pickup/receiving of subcontracted services and place items for transport to designated locations; maintain inventory of metallic bar stock; occasional heavy lifting and collaboration with production personnel to ensure parts are delivered as needed; manufacturing environment responsibilities and data-entry tasks are integral to the role.
