Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment such as tippers, stackers, conveyors, pallet jacks, and compactors to move and process goods safely. Load, unload, stack, and organize MUTs and Blue Bins, ensuring containers are properly labeled, clean, and ready for use. Sort and manage recyclables while building and palletizing materials to support commodities processing. Assist drivers with loading and unloading shipments and maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, and report hazards promptly. Work in a physically active environment with moderate supervision, adhering to operational efficiency goals. Hourly rate is $18.47 with full benefits for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely operate or learn material handling equipment
- Comfort working in a physically active environment (lifting, moving, and standing)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently
- Strong attention to safety and operational detail
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with moderate supervision
- Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Some warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
