Job Summary
Material Handler I handles shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, returns and storage under supervision. Responsibilities include unloading and directing movement of shipments, verifying records in the Warehouse Management System, gathering items for outbound orders, preparing packing slips, shipping labels and bills of lading, maintaining clean and safe work areas, replenishing stock, operating a forklift, and performing after-hours driving as needed. Requires ability to lift up to 150 pounds with assistance, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment; includes certifications to operate a forklift, handle hazardous material shipments, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma orGED
- 0-2 years related experience
- Certified to operate a forklift
- Valid driver’s license
- Certified to handle hazardous material shipments
