Job Summary
Material Handler I performs shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, returns, and storage; lifts heavy items and operates a forklift; unloads/directs movement of shipments, records in Warehouse Management System, prepares packing slips/shipping labels/bills of lading, replenishes stock, and may drive after hours; works as part of a fast-paced team and must be able to follow written/oral instructions and perform basic math; physical demands include lifting up to 150 pounds with assistance; includes benefits such as healthcare, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years related experience
- Certified to operate a forklift
- Valid driver’s license
- Certified to handle hazardous material shipments
