Job Summary
Conduct daily material movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, parts, and finished goods within the bus manufacturing facility using forklifts, hoists, and hand trucks. Pull and stage materials for production based on work orders, accurately maintain replenishing of assembly materials, and organize bins and work centers for efficient label placement and floor space utilization. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments, maintain accurate inventory transaction records, and safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with company policies. Work closely with warehouse and production teams to prevent material shortages, identify damaged items, and keep work areas clean and organized. Onsite from 6am to 2:30pm in Riverside, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1--3 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, or logistics
- Understanding of warehouse and inventory management principles
- Knowledge of safe material handling practices and equipment operation
- Knowledge of materials such as mild and stainless steel
- Familiarity with ERP systems for tracking inventory transactions
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- 100% onsite availability
