Job Summary
Material Handler I - Distribution (Part-Time) performs material handling, shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials in a warehouse. Responsibilities include verifying quantities/lot/part numbers, issuing and moving components, staging raw materials, receiving materials, documenting transactions in computerized systems, operating a forklift to move materials, maintaining orderly warehouse areas, investigating inventory discrepancies, and assisting the warehouse supervisor. Roles may involve duties as Shipping Clerk (preparing pharmaceutical shipments and documenting transactions) and Receiving Clerk (verifying/detecting received material and closing Purchase Orders). Skills emphasized include effective communication, arithmetic, data entry, problem solving, ability to work independently and in a team, and forklift operation. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Training in inventory control, warehousing, and shipping/receiving desirable
- Certification on a stand-up forklift desired
- One or more years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Valid CO Drivers license may be required
- Acceptable MVR may be required
