Job Summary
Conduct fulfillment center operations by handling incoming shipments, managing inventory, and operating heavy material-handling equipment including forklifts and electronic pallet jacks. Unload shipments, visually inspect packages against SOPs, and perform quality control checks while systematically documenting receipts and conducting storage audits. Maintain accurate records within the inventory management system, select proper packaging materials, and stage materials to prevent loss or damage. Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and adhere to strict safety protocols and PPE guidelines. Work the D shift from Friday through Sunday (4:00 PM – 4:00 AM) with a one-week training on A shift. Identify operational roadblocks and support root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement across all workflow stages.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Fulfillment Center Operations, specifically within receiving and inventory functions
- Experience in inventory counting, receiving, packing, put-away, picking/kitting, or shipping
- Experience operating heavy equipment (PIT) in a material handling environment
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in operating heavy machinery/PIT equipment, including forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), reach-trucks, and turret-trucks
- Ability to unload shipments, visually inspect incoming packages against standard operating procedures (SOPs), and perform required quality control checks
- Ability to systematically document receipts, navigate inventory management software, input data accurately, and conduct storage auditing
- Skills in selecting proper packaging materials, wrapping/storing parts, labeling, and staging materials to prevent loss or damage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Strict commitment to workplace safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to derive inventory requirements directly from Bills of Material (BOM)
- Advanced experience with root-cause analysis and problem-solving tools in a manufacturing or fulfillment workflow
