Job Summary
Ensure material availability and accurate inventory by storing delivered items in correct labeled locations. Check silo capacities at shift start and finish to prevent machine downtime, and verify color change procedures with the Supervisor. Record regrind waste, return reusable regrind to machines, and maintain cleanliness in the regrind, label, and mezzanine areas. Perform color changes and assist the Maintenance and Mold Change Team while adhering to all safety standards and OSHA policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing environment
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to operate Forklifts
- It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as Material Handler preferred
