Job Summary
Material Handler I–III responsible for loading/unloading trucks, pulling orders for shipment, replenishing stock, and maintaining warehouse safety and inventory accuracy to support production and shipping. Primary duties include safely handling and distributing various materials, confirming items against pick lists, preparing shipments with proper paperwork, breaking down inbound freight, performing inventory transactions, and upholding ISO 9001 quality-management standards. Requires forklift operation (certification preferred), strong organization, time management, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate, or equivalent, plus related experience as Material Handler or Warehouse Personnel
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and distribution techniques
- Ability to meet deadlines; follow written and verbal instructions; follow rules and procedures; prioritize, organize, solve problems, and work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with supervisors and colleagues
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Forklift Operation Certification desired
- Experience in shipping, receiving and/or order pulling (preferred)
