Job Summary
Transport materials to or from storage or work sites, loading and unloading vehicles and containers while securing items to prevent damage. Sort, store, and process incoming donations by category, separating glass, wares, and shoes according to company standards. Effectively stack materials and move items using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting devices, including assisting drivers with cargo trucks from residences and stores. Maintain a clean, organized work area and transfer trash to compactors. Work flexible hours, including weekends and any combination of 5 days for an 8-hour shift, with occasional overtime. Adhere to all safety, health, and confidentiality policies while wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass background check
- Must be able to work flexible hours and days including weekends
- Must be available to work any combination of 5 days between Monday through Sunday for an 8-hour shift
- Will be required to occasionally work overtime
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to adhere to Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest directives, rules, policies, procedures, and departmental and organizational standards
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
