Material Handler I

Material Handler I transports, loads, and unloads materials, tools, and equipment to designated job-site locations under the supervision of the Logistics Manager. Responsibilities include processing requests and stock orders, pulling materials, maintaining inventory sheets, enforcing inventory controls, and completing reports for the Superintendent and Project Manager. Requires knowledge of electrical materials and tools, ability to read construction drawings, operate power tools and construction equipment (e.g., forklift, trenching equipment, aerial platforms), and safe work practices. Must have a valid driver’s license and forklift and crane-rigging certifications within 30 days of hire. Education required is High School Diploma or GED. Working hours are 40 hours per week with overtime as required; site conditions may include extreme weather. Equal opportunity employer statement included.
