Job Summary
Unload incoming shipments, visually inspect packages against standard operating procedures, and perform quality control checks. Operate heavy material-handling equipment including forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks to manage inventory, conduct put-away, and support picking or kitting. Systematically document receipts, navigate inventory management software, input data accurately, and perform storage auditing. Lift up to 50 lbs regularly while adhering to strict workplace safety protocols and PPE guidelines. Drive continuous improvement by identifying operational roadblocks and supporting root-cause analysis across all workflow stages.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Fulfillment Center Operations, specifically within receiving and inventory functions
- Experience in inventory counting, receiving, packing, put-away, picking/kitting, or shipping
- Experience operating heavy equipment (PIT) in a material handling environment
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in operating heavy machinery/PIT equipment, including forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), reach-trucks, and turret-trucks
- Ability to unload shipments, visually inspect incoming packages against standard operating procedures (SOPs), and perform required quality control checks
- Ability to systematically document receipts, navigate inventory management software, input data accurately, and conduct storage auditing
- Skills in selecting proper packaging materials, wrapping/storing parts, labeling, and staging materials to prevent loss or damage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- A strict commitment to workplace safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to derive inventory requirements directly from Bills of Material (BOM)
- Advanced experience with root-cause analysis and problem-solving tools in a manufacturing or fulfillment workflow
