Job Summary
Conduct on/off-loading of products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates and report to the Production Supervisor. Read work orders, follow job standards for safety, quality, and production, and attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages. Interpret basic mathematical measurements using a tape measure while maintaining attention to detail regarding safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and stand on a concrete floor for 8-10 hours per day, including overtime when required. Candidates must have prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment and withstand moderate to high noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Prior work experience performed inside a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted
- Ability to stand and move around on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor
- Able to withstand noise levels in the work environment that can be moderate to high
- Prior work history in a plant facility that is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
