Job Summary
Material Handler I role performing unloading, moving, storing materials, conducting bin maintenance, handling incoming/outgoing materials, following routing/orders, operating hand trucks/pallet jacks, releasing Kanban status, and recording inventory in the G&W system. Must read Bills of Material, perform cycle counts, maintain a safe workspace, train others as needed, and contribute to team efforts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift is 2:00pm to 10:30pm with pay range of $20-$22 per hour; benefits include medical/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, vacation, and profit sharing. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, with other PPE and safety requirements, and emphasizes equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or combination of work experience and skill development
- 0-1 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to safely use pallet jacks and other manual moving equipment
- Must be able to read and interpret Bills of Material
- Must have basic to intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others to support manufacturing processes
- Ideally have previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
