Material Handler I - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Material Handler I responsible for processing and moving finished products and materials in a warehouse. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, moving items within the inventory system, maintaining organization and 5S standards, reporting safety concerns, and assisting in day-to-day operations. Required skills include basic math, writing legibly, teamwork, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing for most of the shift, and willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends. Experience with inventory systems and MS Office is preferred; forklift/reach truck knowledge is a plus; Oracle experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory systems or Oracle a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of pallet jacks, dollies; forklift/reach truck a plus
- Attention to detail; good communication skills
- Follow established procedures under supervisor
