Job Summary
Move materials to and from storage and work stations using material handling equipment (power lift truck, hand truck, pallets, racks and hand tools such as a hammer, banding equipment); load and unload trucks and semi-trailers; follow supervisor instructions; communicate with departments to determine needs; transfer materials and finished goods using warehouse systems; assist with assembly line setup/teardown; maintain inventory and clean, orderly storage areas; knowledge of facility locations; follow all safety rules and regulations; 1-2 years of general work experience in manufacturing preferred; High school diploma or GED; valid Michigan driver’s license and lift truck license; CDL only in special circumstances.
