Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, move materials within the work site, and maintain good manufacturing practices in the pharmaceutical and retail environment. Operate heavy power equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to load materials into trailers, install strapping, and prevent transit damage. Pick orders, replenish lines, and use RF scanners to update racking systems while attaching labels and rejecting unacceptable packaging. Read work orders, follow verbal instructions, and maintain equipment through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Adhere to safety standards, legal regulations, and SOPs to ensure a healthy work environment. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with flexibility for additional time.
Required Qualifications
- Prior forklift/warehouse experience
- Previous Equipment experience operating an Order Picker, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker Forklift, and/or Power Operated Pallet Jack
- Previous picking experience using RF Scanner
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs if needed
- Must not be scared of heights
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence
- Effective communication / comprehension skills - verbal and written
- Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 50lbs, and move materials up to 600ilbs using a pallet jack or equipment
- Must be flexible to work additional time as needed
