Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, staging, and storing raw and finished materials and large fabricated components to support production and logistics. Key responsibilities include operating various forklifts and cranes, loading/unloading different types of trailers, maintaining accurate documentation, and adhering to safety standards. Candidates will need 3-4 years of material handling experience, proficiency in using heavy-capacity forklifts, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Physical demands include standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years of experience material handling and driving lifts, preference in heavy capacity forklifts
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Able to read and interpret work instructions, fluent in both written and spoken English
- Able to lift 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation
- Must pass a background check and drug test
