Material Handler

Job Summary
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and supplies. Transport materials to designated production areas using forklifts or pallet jacks. Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking material movement and reporting discrepancies. Collaborate with production supervisors to prioritize material delivery and ensure continuous workflow. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to prevent accidents. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Identify and report any material quality issues or equipment malfunctions. Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Work the 1st shift Monday through Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available on Fridays.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1st Shift = Monday - Thursday 5:00 am - 3:30 pm (overtime on Friday)
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification or equivalent training
- Familiarity with computerized inventory management systems
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and work orders
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors
