Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment to receive, store, and ship material while performing receiving and shipping inspections to verify quantity, check for damage, and confirm documentation. Conduct physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document receipt, shipment, and control. Lift a minimum of 55 lbs on a consistent and regular basis throughout the day. Work overtime and on scheduled days off with little or no advance notice. Demonstrate the ability to coordinate activities, work independently with little supervision, and adhere to all safety requirements. Forklift certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on a consistent and regular basis.
- Must be able to work overtime, and on scheduled days off, with little or no advance notice.
- Must be able to understand, read and write basic English.
- Must be able to perform basic math calculations: Addition, Subtraction and Multiplication.
- Must be able to read and understand the English alphabet.
- Must be able to coordinate a series of activities simultaneously.
- Must show willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Must be observant, detailed and safety oriented.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. throughout the day.
- Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift Certification preferred.
