Job Summary
Material Handler/Forklift Operator needed in Kodiak, AK to manage the flow of materials on site. Responsibilities include lifting, carrying, stacking items as needed; operating motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment; adhering to safety procedures; and participating in on-the-job training. Must be capable of lifting up to 80 pounds and comfortable working in a production environment with temperature variations, dust, noise, and chemicals. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- On-the-job training available
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Experience with material handling equipment or forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to work in a production environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Commitment to safety procedures and attendance at safety meetings
