Material Handler/Forklift Operator-2nd shift

Job Summary
Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility while using RF scanners to scan, put away, receive, pick, and ship inventory. Load and unload trailers, stage materials, and transport goods within the warehouse. Perform daily equipment inspections, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with cycle counts. Follow all safety, GMP, and warehouse protocols; complete required documentation, perform pallet building, and handle oil railcar or product sampling as needed. 2nd shift availability required with mandatory overtime possible. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of forklift operator experience
- Ability to achieve proficiency in onsite forklift testing and evaluation
- Experience with RF scanners
- Experience with warehouse systems
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience in fast-paced warehouse/distribution/manufacturing settings
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Must be able to walk throughout the plant, to include walking and climbing up/downstairs and ladders (portable, fixed)
- Must have be ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must have the appropriate level of sensory acuity (visual, hearing, speaking, smell and touch) to be able to identify and react to normal, abnormal and alarm conditions (chemicals, temperature, etc.)
- Must be able to logically and methodically work through and break down complex problems and processes to enable effective communication with all levels of the organization
- Must be available to train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks
- MANDATORY OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED SOME WEEKS
