Material Handler

Job Summary
Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other equipment to move material safely. Load and unload products and supplies. Open and close dock doors and dock plates following all safety requirements. Stage material from the receiving area to the designated storage locations. Select and stage products for customer orders at the pack cells. Stage packed product from pack cells to the designated area. Stage supplies for customer orders. Place product on hold when necessary to designated hold area. Complete all job related quality, safety, and material checks. Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution center environment
- mobile equipment experience including stand-up and sit-down forklifts
- HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- ability to lift up to 70+ pounds
- ability to work OT including weekends
- physical stamina to stand for 8+ hours
- math and computer skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- team-oriented
- attention to detail
