Job Summary
Unload trucks and railroad cars, replenish product, and pick orders using a forklift until filled. Use handheld scanners for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counting within Warehouse Management System processes. Report shortages or damaged material, band and wrap items for shipping, and arrange orders by safe weight distribution. Collaborate with the WMS Coordinator, fill incoming customer orders, perform routine maintenance, and inspect forklifts daily per OSHA regulations. Cross-train and back up teammates while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years warehouse experience
- Must be able to work scheduled shift: Mon - Friday. 6:00am - 5pm CST.
- Neat and clean appearance
- Proven ability to work as a member of a team
- Strong initiative, self-starter with a continuous-improvement mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a cross-functional team environment
- Working knowledge and techniques associated with organizing and setting priorities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
