Job Summary
Material Handler position involves performing physical tasks in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing medical products. Key responsibilities include pulling and filling orders, using RF Scanning equipment, preparing goods for shipment, and operating power equipment such as forklifts. Candidates should have 0-1+ year experience, demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, possess essential communication skills, and be prepared for mandatory overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1+ year experience
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to work independently and follow safety-related instructions
- Working knowledge of Material Handling issues
- Strong reading, addition and subtraction skills to manage order specific documentation.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Warehouse Equipment (Power Industrial Equipment, Forklift, Cherry Picker, Pallet Jack, etc.)
- Work experience in a fast-paced, distribution or warehouse environment or stock room strongly preferred; picking/packing, sorting, loading/unloading, scanning, quality inspection or various other warehouse functions.
