Job Summary
Move material using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts to load, unload, and stock shelves inside the store and warehouse. Open crates, sort items including feed and fertilizers, and stack merchandise for maximum inventory levels. Collect reusable items, operate compactors, and check inbound freight from vendors while reporting shipment damage. Assist customers with merchandise questions and maintain clean work areas and equipment. Perform periodic inventory checks and assist with resets or remodels as assigned. Forklift certification preferred; valid driver's license and ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be able to work majority of shift standing
- Must be able to frequently lift 25 to 75 pounds
- Must be able to move merchandise
- Must be able to physically participate in resets, remodels and reconstruction projects

- Experience as a Material Handler
- Working knowledge of inventory systems
- Proper storage methods
- Record keeping
- Forklift certification
