Job Summary
Operate a chainsaw to make specialized cuts and safely load materials using a forklift. Verify order accuracy after packaging and loading, while maintaining a clean working area. Provide basic customer service to internal and external clients and collaborate with team members to fulfill daily tasks. Perform daily safety checks on equipment and adhere to all OSHA compliance procedures. Work in a high-traffic warehouse and yard environment, including outdoor conditions in all weather. Complete additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Comfortable with physical work in all weather conditions
- Ability to use hand tools and chainsaw
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience (sit-down/counterbalance)
- Familiarity with building materials
- Able to measure and calculate material lengths
