Job Summary
Review production work orders and associated documentation, including Bills of Materials. Identify and store raw materials using part numbering systems in correct locations. Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately while using hand and powered tools to build assemblies in designated areas. Communicate with team leaders regarding assembly instructions, workflow adjustments, and scheduling. Pass onsite training for forklifts, cranes, baler, and compactors. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while promoting a clean, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Understanding of part numbering systems and inventory organization
- Knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards
- High level of mobility to support dynamic production needs
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently
- Working knowledge of hand tools and assembly hardware relevant to production tasks
- Understanding of quality, health, and safety standards, with commitment to maintaining compliance
- Must be highly mobile, able to access all areas of the premises
- Ability to concentrate and remain focused while prioritizing multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects
- Ability to sit for prolonged period of times
- Able to perform bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and lifting of moderate to heavyweight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees
- Ability to frequently use hands and arms
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while servicing equipment
- Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas
- Strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to lift <50lbs as an individual
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
