Material Handler - Engineered Wood

Job Summary
Conduct daily distribution yard activities including receiving, storing, and shipping building materials. Unload incoming shipments, warehouse and stack materials properly, and retrieve items following sales orders. Build loads for delivery, operate forklifts and machinery as required, and use chainsaws to cut lumber per customer requests. Check loads against orders before vehicles exit the yard and maintain housekeeping and safety guidelines throughout the facility. Schedule is 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. This part-time role is part of the Carpenter's Union #2761, offering defined benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma, GED or 2 years' equivalent work experience
- Must be able to understand and communicate safety and other work related instructions
Desired Qualifications
- General warehouse experience, including forklift operation, and/or knowledge of warehouse work environment preferred
- Knowledge of building material products a plus
- Chainsaw experience a plus
