Job Summary
Material Handler responsibilities include receiving, storing, moving, and preparing materials within the warehouse, sorting and placing materials on racks, restocking bin locations, packing materials for shipping, measuring and packaging to order specifications, maintaining accurate material movement records, operating and inspecting a Raymond forklift, loading delivery trucks, and assisting with periodic inventory counts. The role requires attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, basic math, and the ability to read a tape measure; forklift experience is a plus. The work involves maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and complying with OSHA safety regulations, and requires wearing PPE and working Monday-Friday.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift experience a plus, but not necessary
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday
- Lift and carry heavy material up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
