Job Summary
Drive automatic transmission box trucks and pickups to deliver custom precision sheet metal products to commercial customers throughout Virginia. Load, unload, and package materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand while following strict routes and time schedules. Complete delivery logs, obtain customer signatures, and ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations. Perform general labor duties including moving products and inspecting shipments when not actively making deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in material handling/ deliveries
- Valid driver's license (non-CDL)
- Ability to operate forklifts to load and unload tractor trailers and straight trucks
- Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Good driving record with no traffic violations, must meet our insurance requirements
- Lift 50-75 lbs, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements
- Must have reliable transportation and/or ability to get to work on time every day
- Good attendance is mandatory
- Must be flexible & available for overtime
