Job Summary
Material Handler responsible for loading/unloading products safely and accurately, identifying material by part number/description/quantity, gathering customer orders, updating consolidation cards, completing transactions in the MRP system, transporting products with forklifts/straddle/overhead crane, and performing general housekeeping; requires high school diploma/GED, basic English literacy, and experience with manufacturing math and equipment, with shift 7AM-3PM and potential outside-hours work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to perform common manufacturing math
- 6 months prior experience in manufacturing
- 6 months prior experience operating heavy equipment
- 6 months prior experience using computer inventory control system
- Prior forklift operating experience
- Prior overhead crane experience
- Prior experience operating straddle truck and shag truck (terminal tractor, yard truck)
