Material Handler Day shift

Material Handler on Day shift responsible for receiving incoming materials from customers or delivery drivers, preparing materials for paint or other operations (grinding, hand sanding, chemical wash and rinse, hanging), placing and retrieving materials from ovens and paint areas, and packaging/loading finished product. Maintain organized storage to enhance production flow; operate boom lifts, forklifts, skid steers, and manual carts; move processed material to designated locations; coordinate with painters and blasters for availability; uphold safety and company policies; attend Tool Box and other meetings; perform other duties as directed by Foreman or Lead. Requires ability to read/write, perform arithmetic, understand instructions, organize material, follow inventory procedures, and use measuring equipment; physical demands include lifting up to 70 pounds and various repetitive motions over an 8- to 12-hour shift.
