Job Summary
Receive, identify, label, stock, and record materials to maintain accurate inventory while loading, unloading, and transporting supplies using forklifts and carts indoors and outdoors. Verify items against packing slips and purchase orders, then sort and stage parts safely for delivery to production lines. Pull materials from production orders, respond to internal requests, and perform daily forklift and crane inspections. Operate in a fast-paced shop environment with minimal supervision, following all safety procedures and utilizing barcode systems for inventory management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0–1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work independently with instruction and collaborate effectively in a team
- Strong problem‐solving skills and adaptability to change
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Capable of working in a fast‐paced production environment and meeting deadlines
- Willingness to accept feedback and correct errors when needed
