Job Summary
Material Handler based in Vidalia, LA responsible for orderly production and distribution of materials by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials to production bays, staging finished product for distribution, and ensuring safety, quality, and environmental guidelines are followed. The role requires operating forklifts (5K, 10K and similar equipment), confirming material accuracy, supporting material reconciliations, performing JSA and pre-operation checklists, and collaborating with the Shift Supervisor and Material Control. Must be able to lift up to 50–100 lbs, work in all weather, and operate related handling equipment; prior forklift experience and a High School Diploma or GED are required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED; Preferred
- Experience: 1 Year of Forklift Experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. multiple times daily unassisted, 75 lbs assisted, and push or pull 100 lbs. assisted
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods
