Job Summary
Receive, load, and unload materials from freight vehicles while counting, weighing, and storing items on the sales floor. Move goods using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, and open crates or wrap pallets for distribution. Collect, sort, and stack products including clothes, fertilizers, and machinery, then stock shelves to maintain inventory levels. Report discrepancies, damage, or missing items to supervisors and manage reusable containers or waste via compactors. Perform periodic inventory checks, stock rotation, and assist with resets or remodels as assigned. Valid driver's license and forklift certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Must have a good driving record
- Frequent lifting of 25 to 75 pounds
- Occasional lifting of over 75 pounds
- Must be able to work the majority of shift walking and standing
- Must be able to move merchandise
- Must be able to physically participate in resets, remodels and reconstruction projects
