Job Summary
Receive, load, unload, count, weigh, measure, code, and store materials on or from freight vehicles. Move product using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, or by-hand methods, and open, unwrap, and secure crates and boxes. Collect, sort, stack, and stock shelves with clothes, fertilizers, tools, and other goods while maintaining inventory levels on the sales floor. Report discrepancies and shipment damage to supervisors, dispose of waste, and clean work areas. Perform spotting trucks, freight checking, and stock rotation as directed. High School Diploma required; valid driver's license and forklift certification preferred. Must be able to lift 25 to 75 pounds frequently and work primarily standing or walking.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Frequent lifting of 25 to 75 pounds
- Occasional lifting of over 75 pounds
- Ability to work the majority of shift walking and standing
- Ability to move merchandise
- Ability to physically participate in resets, remodels and reconstruction projects
