Job Summary
Material Handler- Cutting responsible for stocking, pulling, stacking, transporting parts; operate a handheld scanner to scan product; organize and maintain bins for accurate inventories; assist in unloading trucks; may break down cardboard and operate baler; move stock to work areas in a timely manner; may use computer to pull patterns/forms; identify and measure stock types; rotate stock FIFO; must be self-motivated with little supervision; physical requirements include lifting up to 100 pounds and standing for a 9-hour shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous material handling experience a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to walk and stand for a 9-hour shift
- Must be able to operate baler, pallet jacks, carts/buggies, etc.
- Must be able to move products to work areas in a timely manner
- Ability to learn to identify and measure different types of stock
- Rotating stock FIFO (first in first out) as appropriate
