Job Summary
Material Handler responsible for hands-on operation of yard equipment in support of the manufacturing division, including crane/forklift operation, inventory control, receiving, and coordinating internal/external deliveries. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory, managing POs and BOLs, transferring parts to jobs, and serving as main point of contact for deliveries. Must comply with safety policies (including zero-tolerance drug/alcohol testing) and adapt to a safety-focused environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and certifications in crane and forklift; experience with outdoor heavy equipment and basic mechanical/PC skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred for the Texas location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Crane certification
- Forklift certification
- Bilingual preferred English/Spanish for Texas location
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, operate heavy machinery
- Experience running outdoor heavy equipment
- Experience in material handling/rail industry preferred but not required
