Job Summary
Move, load, and unload tile and stone products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other designated equipment while inspecting materials for damage and ensuring quality standards. Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical inventories, collaborating with the inventory control team to resolve discrepancies. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free by optimizing storage spaces for efficient material flow and adhering to all safety protocols. Report safety concerns promptly and communicate effectively with suppliers regarding inbound and outbound shipments. This full-time role includes overtime as business needs dictate and requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, and the ability to lift heavy loads in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a material handler in a warehouse environment
- Previous experience loading and unloading trucks
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols
- Must be able to speak or hear
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
